Tel Aviv: Israeli media is claiming that Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is injured. He was declared Supreme Leader after the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in an Israeli-American airstrike. In addition to his father, his mother and wife were also killed in the attack. However, Iranian state media later claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei was healthy. However, suspicions are being raised about his injuries due to his inability to speak out during the crisis.

Several names have emerged as candidates for Iran's next Supreme Leader. While Mojtaba's name has been discussed since the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, several other names have subsequently emerged.
